Writer, tree-hugger and general fitness fiend. I believe in living life with as little impact on the environment as possible, caring for those less fortunate and treating my body well because it is the only one I’ve got.
Angered by modern consumerism, cruelty and a lack of respect for the planet, I aim to spread the word on living a less harmful existence and why loving yourself and others around you is so important. I like the quirky and the odd, going off the beaten track to find new experiences, learn new lessons and rediscover a simpler way of life.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t live in a small wooden hut and grow my own carrots – although that sounds lovely! I simply try to live in a more conscientious way, doing what I can with the tools I have. Those tools? My laptop. I started WhatEmmaFound as a way of connecting with like-minded people. I enjoy hearing your stories and learning from you, so to everyone who reads my content – thank you!
Be brave. Take risks. Nothing can substitute experience – Paulo Coelho.
My big focus at the moment is the Maasai Mara Cycling Challenge, 150km through the tough African terrain to raise money for clean fresh water for local communities with the charity Dig Deep. More details can be found here.
